{"id":38,"date":"2012-12-01T12:39:42","date_gmt":"2012-12-01T11:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dolinaraby.pl\/nowa_strona\/?page_id=38"},"modified":"2018-07-31T11:09:29","modified_gmt":"2018-07-31T09:09:29","slug":"about-as-in-english","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/dolinaraby.pl\/klon2024\/about-as-in-english\/","title":{"rendered":"About us in English"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>About LAG \u201eValley of Raba\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Local Action Group (LAG) called \u201cDolina Raby\u201d (the valley of river called Raba) was one of 39 LAGs in Ma\u0142opolska Voivodship (region) and one of 335 Local Action Groups in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>LGD \u201eValley of Raba\u201d covers the area of six communes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biskupice,<\/li>\n<li>Gd\u00f3w,<\/li>\n<li>\u0141apan\u00f3w,<\/li>\n<li>Nowy Wi\u015bnicz,<\/li>\n<li>Trzciana<\/li>\n<li>\u017begocina<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and population over 59 thousand.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dolinaraby.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Mapka-LGD.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-5656\" src=\"http:\/\/dolinaraby.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Mapka-LGD-300x234.jpg\" alt=\"Mapka LGD\" width=\"300\" height=\"234\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dolinaraby.pl\/klon2024\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Mapka-LGD-300x234.jpg 300w, http:\/\/dolinaraby.pl\/klon2024\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Mapka-LGD.jpg 571w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Picture. <\/strong>The area of LAG Dolina Raby (red) on the map of LAGs of Malopolskie region. Local Action Group \u201cDolina Raby\u201d is situated in the south of Poland, about 40 km in south-east from Krak\u00f3w. LGD Dolina Raby is the cross-sector partnership of over 120 public, social and economic partners \u2013 six public administrations (communes), one health care institution, over 30 entrepreneurs, a dozen of associations and foundations, a dozen of farmers and local activists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Local Action Group Dolina Raby like other LAGs in Poland is a legal entity. LGD Dolina Raby is a special association under conditions of article 15 of act implementing Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 in Poland. LAG acted within the priority Axis 4 of the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 \u2013 Leader. Measures of priority Axis 4 \u2013 Leader were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementation of local development strategies;<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of cooperation projects;<\/li>\n<li>Functioning of a local action group, gaining skills and activation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The implementation of our Local Development Strategy based on the measures defined within also priority Axis 3 (social) &#8211; economic diversification of rural areas and improvement of the quality of life in rural areas. The support from EAFRD 2007-2013 for our LAG was about 2 million Euros.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are interested in a job creation, especially in the following fields:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>food processing, especially connected with traditional local products,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>tourism, especially in developing of touristic trails,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>innovation and technology transfer, especially in the field of renewable energy.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>wood industry, <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Local Action Group Dolina Raby is a member of The Malopolska Network of LAGs. This network is a member of Polish Network of LAGs which is a member of ELARD. Krzysztof Kwatera \u2013 the President of Local Action Group Dolina Raby is a member of the Working Group of National Rural Network in Poland representing all LAGs in Poland. Our the most important event is Festiwal Roso\u0142u (the Broth Festival). The first Polish cookbook was wrote by Stanis\u0142aw Czerniecki in 1682 in the castle of Nowy Wi\u015bnicz. The first position in this book is occupied by Polish Broth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cooperation Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We took part in 11 cooperation projects (including three preparatory ones). Two projects (with two preparatory ones) were transnational (one with Finnish and one with Irish LAGs). The projects were mainly concerned with a promotion of local traditional food.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dolinaraby.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/SAM_1384-1600x1200.jpg\" 1.5;\">local dishes from 6 and more LAGs from different&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">regions of Poland &#8211; three projects in different&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"line-height:
